Flying by Sheeba Marie

I wrote 'Flying' about two years ago.  It was a prophetic song for me meaning that it told the future about a relationship I was in before I even knew the truth myself. Isn't that wild? I think sometimes, we know exactly how things will manifest...we know it deeply, and yet, we continue on a path that's not authentic for us. Why? Well, maybe because 'ideas are romantic;)' And for us people who are the lover of ideas, that can get tricky. But hey, I've got graditude because a song evolved and here it is. Maybe the relationship was meant to create this love song. That truth seems even more apparent to me today.

Creativity is a trip in that way. It goes beyond the everyday words and language that we get caught up in and represents our experiences in another way that sometimes can be even more honest than what we're trying to say with limited words.
